This is the official website for Justin Taylor and Brian Harmon’s senior media film project. This will be a short film in the post-apocalytic sci-fi genre.
The ideas for Persist have been culminating since 2010. Preproduction began summer of 2014. The short film will be shot in mid November 2014 and will premier in the spring of 2015.
Pitch
A man trekking across the burnt planes of post-apocalyptic America to find his lost brother is faced with physical and psychological obstacles that force him to make a choice that could cost the life of those he holds most dear.
5 years after the apocalypse, we meet Will. Along the journey, Will must evade a bandit caravan and eventually act against the mysterious non-earthly enemy that brought the apocalypse.
Through physical hardship and emotional struggles, the story of Persist explores the concepts of tenacity, hope, and love.
