Looking at dailies has been a joy.  It’s so rewarding to see the product of all our hard work and time.  We just made the first draft of our trailer today. Lookout for it’s online release on Christmas day!

Besides the 3:30 AM call time, today was incredibly simple compared to the first weekend. We shot during sunrise at Carbon Canyon and then came back to Biola to film the interior scenes in the studio where our incredible art team built us a futuristic laboratory. One more day to go!

Thanksgiving has been a great break for us all, but now we’re super excited as our second weekend approaches. We’re building sets and department heads are meeting to work out the final details before we set forth on our final weekend of principle photography.

Day 2 down! We just completed our day of filming at Bombay Beach and Mecca Canyon. Had a few struggles with wind storms, but we kept on keeping on. An excellent day for the crew and the film, and now we’re back to civilization. Some pics from the day:

  Thanks to everyone who helped us get here, Our Kickstarter is complete and we raised $4,436 ($936 beyond our goal)! Principle photography begins this weekend, here we go!
